On November 8th, 2000, the Raven King flew
through the auditorium of London's most famous concert hall, The Royal
Albert Hall.
The occasion was the Schools Proms, an
annual series of concerts given by younger musicians from all over
Britain.
The Caerphilly Kids Opera Group from South
Wales, who gave the premiere of The Raven King were invited to sing
excerpts from the opera for the Last Night of the Children's Proms, and
they were joined by a small group of children from Alberta, Canada, who
had sung in The Raven King at the 1999 Banff Arts Festival.
