| KidsOp
created a new opera for 2002 on the subject of children in war and
conflict zones.
The opera is designed to heighten awareness of
the plight of such children around the world. It will be performed in various productions around the world, using local forces in each place. KidsOp will link children and adults from each production using the Web. Children and adults from peaceful countries will be able to learn from children and adults in conflict zones, and children and adults in conflict zones will be able to share their experiences through the common medium of opera. |
